This Sunday, Pastor Amanda explored how the story of Peter walking on water reminds us that faith is not about never facing storms or never sinking, but about trusting that Christ is always reaching out to walk with us, sustain us, and bring us safely through whatever challenges we face.

Reflection Questions:
1. Can you identify a time when you felt like Peter, taking a risk in faith and trusting God with the outcome?
2. What storms are you facing right now that make you feel overwhelmed, afraid, or uncertain?
3. When life becomes difficult, are you more likely to try to handle things on your own or reach out for help? Why?
4. Have there been moments when you cried out, "Lord, save me"? How did you experience God's response?
5. Where do you most need to hear Christ's words today: "Take heart, here I am; do not be afraid"?
6. How can our congregation be a place of safety, support, and accompaniment for those who feel like they are sinking?
Prayer:
Gracious God, when the winds rise and we begin to sink beneath the storms of life, remind us that Jesus is already reaching out his hand to us, not because our faith is perfect, but because your grace is. Keep us steadfast in the assurance that Christ walks beside us through every storm, carrying us safely into the shelter of your love. Amen.
